Vidwan Sri Venkatappa and Vidushi Smt. Subhadramma.
Rooted in a rich legacy, our mission is to nurture and celebrate the timeless tradition of Karnatik music by providing platform to artists and creating opportunities for budding artists to perform, learn, and grow under the guidance of maestros and stalwarts.

Every year, the SVSV Trust proudly bestows the prestigious title “Nada Laya Siddhanta” upon an eminent musician who has devoted decades to the service of Karnatik music. This heartfelt tribute celebrates their unwavering dedication and lifelong contribution to preserving and propagating this sacred art form.
As part of this annual celebration, the Trust also marks its anniversary with grand concerts featuring renowned and senior artists, offering rasikas an opportunity to experience musical brilliance at its finest.

Annual Festivals
Every year, Subhadramma Venkatappa Sangeeta Vidyalaya Trust® proudly confers the prestigious title “Nada Laya Siddhanta”, along with a cash award, upon an eminent musician who has dedicated decades to the rich tradition of Karnatik music.
To mark the Trust’s anniversary, a series of vibrant and soulful grand concerts are organized, showcasing renowned and senior artists. These events provide rasikas with a rare opportunity to witness musical brilliance at its finest.
As part of its cultural and educational mission, the Trust also conducts:

Certification Programme
SVSV Trust offers certificate program for students learning Karnatik music in India and abroad.
Students learning Karnatik music under any gurus, teachers, or any school can pursue courses –
Certification Programs are conducted in Karnatik Music both in Vocal and Instruments.
Sangeetha Pravesha - Level 1 (L1) to Level 4 (L4).
Sangeetha Parichaya - Level 1 (L1) to Level 4 (L4) and
Sangeetha Praveena - Level 1 (L1) to Level 4 (L4) will be soon introduced with syllabus and all other details.
Examinations are conducted Online -Live, twice a year in the month of June and November.
SVSV Trust’s course is meant to evaluate the student’s knowledge of music and acquire the academic results.
Evaluation are done by renowned experts in the particular field and E- Certificates are given to all successful candidates.
Evaluation Criteria (Out of 100 Marks)

Distinction: 90% and above (90+ marks)

First Division: 60% and above (60 marks and above)
-
Second Division: 50% – 59.9% (50 to 59 marks)

Third Division: 40% – 49.9% (40 to 49 marks)

Fail: Below 40% (Less than 40 marks)
Passing Marks: 40% (Minimum 40 marks out of 100).
Certificate Recognition Criteria
The three students who secure the highest marks will be awarded special certificates.
About us
Vidushi. Smt. Ranjini Siddanthi Venkatesh is the Founder Trustee of Subhadramma Venkatappa Sangeetha Vidyalaya Trust (R) and a renowned mridangam artiste hailing from a family of musicians.
A disciple of stalwarts like Vidwan Ballari Mariyanna, Vidwan N. G. Ravi, Vidwan H. S. Sudhindra, and trained vocally by Vidushi Neela Ramgopal, she is an ‘A Top’ grade artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan. With performances across India and abroad - Hongkong , Singapore, Cyprus, Switzerland to name a few.
She has accompanied many eminent artists like M Balamurali Krishna, Kanyakumari, Sikkil Mala, M S Sheela, Sikkil Gurucharan, T M Krishna, R A Rama Mani, Dr T S Sathyavathi , Kalavathi Avadhooth and many more and received several accolades for her contributions to Carnatic music.
Vidushi. Smt. Rashmi Ravi ( Dhanya Siddhanti) is the Trustee of Subhadramma Venkatappa Sangeetha Vidyalaya Trust (R) Vidushi Rashmi Ravi is a distinguished Carnatic musician and a Gold Medalist in M.A. Music from Delhi University. She has also passed the prestigious Vidwat examination conducted by the Government of Karnataka with First Class distinction. She has composed music for various bhajans and have sung in CD recordings.
Her gurus her grand parents and Smt. Vasanti Rao (Delhi), Smt. Kamakshi Balasubramaniam (Kolkata), Sangeetha Kalaacharya Vidushi Neela Ramgopal, and is currently continuing her musical refinement under the mentorship of Mridanga Vidwan Sri H. S. Sudhindra.
She has performed extensively in prestigious sabhas and cultural platforms across India, including Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Kolkata, and other regions. In 2001, she founded Swaralaya Music Academy, through which she has been nurturing students both in India and abroad.
Smt. Gayathri S is one of the Trustees of the Subhadramma Venkatappa Sangeetha Vidyalaya Trust (R), bringing with her over four decades of dedicated teaching experience. A passionate educator, she teaches Carnatic music, Bhagavad Gita shlokas, Lalita Sahasranama, and other daily prayers. Deeply committed to preserving and promoting Sanatana Dharma, she also conducts summer camps across various locations, guiding children in cultural and spiritual learning from a young age.
